Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Adopt Not Shop platform. These terms govern your access to and use of our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Adopt Not Shop platform, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Use of Service
Our platform connects potential adopters with rescue charities and shelters. We facilitate the connection but are not responsible for the adoption process itself. All adoptions are subject to the individual charity's approval process and requirements.
3. User Responsibilities
Users agree to provide accurate and truthful information when creating profiles or submitting adoption applications. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Adoption Process
Adopt Not Shop acts as a facilitator between adopters and rescue organisations. The final adoption decision rests with the individual charity or shelter. We do not guarantee that any application will be approved. Adoption fees are paid directly to the rescue organisation.
5. Content and Listings
All animal profiles and information are provided by partner charities and shelters. While we strive to ensure accuracy, Adopt Not Shop cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all listings. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our guidelines.
6. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use our platform for commercial breeding, selling animals for profit, or any activities that violate animal welfare laws. Misuse of the platform may result in account suspension or termination.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
